As Power Station’s lead sponsor, Rochdale Capital is investing in the power of podcasting to amplify the stories of nonprofits that advance racial equity and strengthen democracy nationwide.

“Rochdale Capital’s sponsorship is a game changer for Power Station”, stated Power Station Host and Creator Anne Pasmanick. “John Holdsclaw and I both believe in podcasting as a powerful platform for presenting stories and strategies that should be headline news. With Rochdale Capital’s support, we will continue to highlight change making nonprofit leaders and deepen their engagement with each other as a cohort.”

According to Demandsage, there are 464.7 million podcast listeners globally as of December 2023. This number is predicted to reach 504.9 million by the end of 2024. Insider Intelligence stated that around 144 million people in the United listen to a podcast every month. Black listenership grew to 43% in 2022, an increase of seven points from a year earlier.

“We believe wealth building in all communities requires both equitable access to capital and an empowered voice", states John Holdsclaw IV, President and CEO of Rochdale Capital.
