Arlington, VA (February 24, 2026) — Rochdale Capital, a community development loan fund whose mission is to promote cooperative and community ownership, advance equity, diversity, and inclusion, and provide capital access in under-resourced communities, recently presented the annual Douglass-Snyder award to Casey Fannon, President and CEO of National Cooperative Bank (NCB).

Awarded annually and named in honor of American abolitionist and statesperson, Frederick Douglass, and former NCB CEO and cooperator, Charles E. "Chuck" Snyder, the Douglass-Snyder Award is given to individuals or organizations who support the sustainable development of communities through the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, and solidarity.

“Rochdale could not ask for a better founding and strategic partner than NCB. Their mission and support have provided us with the foundation to provide equitable access to capital and technical assistance in the communities we serve. We could not think of a more deserving organization in 2025," stated John Holdsclaw IV, President and CEO of Rochdale Capital.
